Your Powerwasher Can Backflow Too!

Your Powerwasher Can Backflow Too!

We received a call from the occupants of the Heavy Equipment Dealership, complaining of soapy water coming from sink faucet and toilet on the second floor.

Our CCC Survey indicated that the pressure washer malfunctioned, forcing hot water and cleaning detergent into the potable water system.

Backflow preventers were installed at the pressure washer (point of use), on the water lines supplying the shop area (zone protection) and at the water service entrance directly after the water meter (Premise isolation).
